a new home

The past 18 months have seen huge changes for our family, culminating in a house move just over eight weeks ago. We are now settling in, and enjoying our new home in the countryside; it’s only about a mile from our old one as the crow flies, but worlds away. The garden is bigger, and we have lovely river views.

The only downside is the fact that there is no studio, whereas before I was lucky enough to have a small but perfectly formed studio adjoining the back of the house. All this will change soon though, as my lovely husband is in the process of building me a ‘shedio’! The basic structure is in place, and we are now in the process of insulating it and fitting out the interior. Hopefully next weekend will see me move in and light the torch.

In celebration of our new home, I am having a sale over in my Etsy store, with 10% off anything until my birthday on 26th May. There is no minimum spend, so grab yourselves a bargain whilst you can! The code to use at checkout is HOUSE. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/bearhousebeads?ref=hdr_shop_menu

having studied Art and Design at BCUC, I finally discovered the magica medium that is glass in early 2009. Once I had melted and made my first (rubbish!) bead, I was completely hooked. I work from my home studio in beautiful Pembrokeshire, west Wales, where I am influenced in particular by the beautiful coastline.
